There’s something truly magical about golden hour — that fleeting time just before sunset when the world is bathed in a soft, warm glow. It’s one of my favorite times to capture portraits, and it’s exactly what we waited for during Ivana and Josh’s portrait session at the stunning Blithewold Manor in Bristol, Rhode Island.
Blithewold Manor is a dream location for any photographer. With its lush gardens, sweeping lawns, and picturesque waterfront views, it offers endless opportunities for creating timeless images. For Ivana and Josh, it was the perfect backdrop to celebrate their love.
We started their session wandering through Blithewold’s gardens, where vibrant blooms and greenery surrounded us. The laughter between these two was infectious, and their connection was so evident in every glance and touch. As we moved toward the waterfront, the sun dipped lower in the sky, casting a golden hue over the landscape.
Golden hour truly brought out the best in their photos. The warm light added a romantic, ethereal quality to their portraits, highlighting their smiles and the joy they share.
