This past fall, I had the pleasure of photographing the Paolisso’s annual mini session in Boston’s historic North End. The autumn air was crisp, the leaves painted the streets with warm hues, and the neighborhood’s charm provided the perfect backdrop for a memorable family photoshoot.
The North End, with its cobblestone streets, historic brick buildings, and cozy urban atmosphere, always feels magical in October. During this session, the golden hour light illuminated the family’s smiles, making the entire scene feel like something out of a storybook. From candid laughter to sweet, posed moments, every frame captured the genuine connection and love this family shared.
One of my favorite spots during the shoot was at the Christopher Columbus Park, where the trellises covered in autumn leaves framed the family beautifully.
What made this session truly special was how effortlessly the family’s personality shone through. Their coordinated fall outfits complemented the scenery, and their playful energy turned every moment into a work of art. Whether it was a giggle from the youngest or a quiet, loving glance between parents, each snapshot told a story.
Fall in Boston is fleeting but so full of beauty, and this session was a reminder of why I love photographing families during this season. Capturing memories against the backdrop of this incredible city is always an honor, and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to document these moments.
If you’re considering a fall mini session in Boston for next year, don’t wait to book! These sessions fill up fast, and there’s no better way to celebrate the season than with timeless photographs of your loved ones.
