New York Fashion Week – Winter 2025

Wow—what a whirlwind! Photographing New York Fashion Week Winter 2025 for the first time was nothing short of incredible. It’s one thing to see the event online or on TV, but being there, camera in hand, capturing every electrifying moment? Absolutely surreal.

The Journey to NYFW

I’ve been photographing weddings, portraits, and events for years, but fashion photography at this level was a whole new experience. When the opportunity came to shoot NYFW, I knew I had to jump on it. Fashion Week is fast, intense, and full of creative energy—exactly the kind of challenge I love.

Stepping into the Chaos

The moment I arrived in New York, I could feel the buzz. Models, designers, makeup artists, influencers—everyone was moving at lightning speed to bring these collections to life.

And then—the shows. Seeing a designer’s vision come to life on the runway was something else. The lights, the music, the outfits, the confidence in every model’s stride—it’s a dream for any photographer.

Fashion photography is different from weddings and events in so many ways. It’s fast-paced, high-pressure, and all about timing. One second too late, and you miss the shot. But there’s also a huge creative side to it—angles, lighting, storytelling. I wanted to capture not just the fashion but the energy, the emotion, the story behind each collection.

Looking Ahead

Being part of NYFW for the first time was an eye-opener. It pushed me creatively, made me think on my feet, and gave me a front-row seat to one of the most exciting industries in the world. This definitely won’t be my last Fashion Week—I’m already looking forward to the next one!
